Sherwood Fitness Center Holds Grand Opening

Do you get 30 minutes of moderate physical activity per day? It is easy and simple! Get out and wash the car (well, you might want to wait until Spring!), go for a walk, use the stairs, shovel snow, or…you could join the Sherwood Fitness Center! The Sherwood Fitness Center held their Grand Opening on Monday, February 14 th. Refreshments were served, and those attending were able to register for door prizes and come in and try out the fitness equipment. The fitness center is located at 204 Main Street ( City Hall Building). Hours of the fitness center are Monday thru Friday from 12:00pm-6:00pm. Hours may be adjusted in the future based on member’s needs. Membership fees are $20.00/month individual, $30.00/month for a couple. Yearly memberships for individuals are also available at $200.00/year or $300.00/year for a couple. A member needs to be 18 years of age or older. In the future, the Sherwood Fitness Center would like to add a TV/Stereo for its members, and also different types of fitness equipment. The Big Buck contest was held in Sherwood on Monday night Nov. 21st at Memorial Hall. We had a big crowd with over 300 people, some from a long way away.
